Single-line circulating ropeway with fixed rope clip
A fixed vehicle (such as a chair, a cabinlift, and a hanging basket) is suspended at a certain interval on a continuously circulating rope. Passengers sit on the vehicle, watching the scenery and traveling in the air.
This kind of ropeway has small transportation volume and poor adaptability to terrain, and thus is only suitable for small and medium-sized scenic spots and ski resorts with little topographic fluctuation.
It however has advantages in sophisticated technology, reliable operation and low cost. Therefore, so far it is still the most common ropeway in China.

Working Principle
The ropeway has only carrying rope which bypasses the driving station and the return station to form a closed loop. The carrier is fixed together with the rope by fixed grip. The rope is driven by the driving machine for carrying out cycle operation at a constant speed, thus driving the ropeway carrier for cycle operation, and realizing the purpose of transporting tourists.
